The Bromley Parent engagement SEND Service
Delivered by Your Voice in Health and Social Care (YVHSC) since 2020 and commissioned by The London Borough of Bromley and NHS South East London Integrated Care Board, the service seeks parent/carer participation of children and young people with SEND, in accordance with the Children and Families Act 2014.
Are you a parent or carer of a child or young person with special educational needs and/or disabilities aged between 0-25 living in the london borough of bromley?
Do you want to help to develop EdUCATION, health and care services for your child and for other children and young people with SEND?
Then bpess is for you.
Delivered by Your Voice in Health and Social Care, BPESS informs service providers of the needs of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and their families.
Services for children and young people who have SEND must be appropriate, acceptable, and accessible. For this reason, families need to be involved in service improvement, planning and monitoring of these services. Our service aims to ensure that there is input and broad representation from families across the borough, including those communities who are seldom heard and/or do not always access services they need.
Parents and carers can get involved in different ways. Through BPESS you can:
Share your views
Get involved and help to shape education, health and care services
Work in partnership with local service providers across Education, Health and Care services and Voluntary Sector partners
Help to improve outcomes for children and young people with SEND and their families.
